Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez is facing legal issues following a work-related trip to Indianapolis.
Just a day before he was scheduled to commentate on the game between the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders on October 5, 2025, Sanchez was involved in a violent confrontation with another individual.
As per a statement from the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, one man sustained cuts during the encounter, while the other man suffered injuries resembling stab wounds.
“Detectives are of the opinion that this incident was a one-off between the two individuals and not a case of random violence,” the police statement read.
After receiving treatment for his injuries, Sanchez, who serves as a Fox Sports analyst, was taken into custody concerning his involvement in the incident. (Us Weekly has reached out to Sanchez’s representatives for a statement.)
