Destable, a French musician and record producer, is known by his stage name, Tepr. He began his career with the musical groups Abstrackt Keal Agram and Yelle before branching out as a solo artist with his debut album, Hypnotease, released in 2015. As he developed his solo career, Tepr worked with renowned artists such as Woodkid, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga, and also made an appearance at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Following his debut, Destable released three more albums: Technosensible, Dance Works 2015-2018, and La nuit se traine (Bande originale du film). Reflecting on his musical journey, Tepr shared insights during a 2017 interview regarding his EP Inquisifunk. He expressed, “I think I did come back to the real me, which is making dance music with a lot of harmonies, a lot of melodies, too mainstream for the indie scene, and too indie for the mainstream.” He added, “Everyone was screaming around me, ‘just do your thing.’ I thought, ‘Maybe I am just stressing out too much, and you just have to do what you like.'”
In addition, Tepr produced the score for the 2024 Oscar-nominated film I’m Still Here.
