Ryan Harris, Former Notre Dame Star
Calls Out CFP Committee
… How Could Notre Dame Be Left Out?!

Former Notre Dame football player and current team broadcaster, Ryan Harris, expressed his frustration over the College Football Playoff snub that excluded the Fighting Irish.

“I think I want to check their Bitcoin accounts. I want to see their cryptocurrency wallets to see what actually went into the decision-making. This has all the images of horse-trading on it,” Harris told TMZ Sports, indicating his displeasure with the committee’s decision.

Harris, who played at Notre Dame from 2003 to 2006, did not name specific committee members but voiced his disappointment over the outcome without providing concrete evidence of any wrongdoing.

Despite his criticism, Harris acknowledged that Notre Dame also had a role to play in their exclusion by not securing key victories during the season.

Reflecting on missed opportunities, Harris remarked, “The best twelve teams in college football are not competing for a national championship. You see it with some of the lines already in the games that will be played. Double-digit lines, sometimes three-touchdown scores over a team.”

Alabama and Miami were chosen over Notre Dame, leading to the Irish opting out of a non-CFP bowl game, sparking controversy within the college football community.

Harris defended Notre Dame’s decision, stating, “No parent would want to risk their child’s livelihood and future, especially in the NIL era, for a game to appease the people who didn’t want to see Notre Dame play in the College Football Playoff anyway.”

Highlighting missed opportunities in key games, Harris emphasized that Notre Dame had the potential to compete at a high level but fell short in critical moments.

In conclusion, Harris urged fans to watch his full interview for a deeper understanding of Notre Dame’s position and his unfiltered perspective on the CFP committee’s decision-making process.
