Investigation into Alleged Relationship Between Columbus Podcaster and Ex-Ohio State President Ted Carter
Reports have surfaced regarding an alleged “inappropriate relationship” between a Columbus podcaster, Krisanthe Vlachos, and disgraced former Ohio State President Ted Carter. The investigation has revealed that Vlachos’ LLC, Vet Earn USA LLC, is registered at a campus building at Ohio State University. This LLC is currently under scrutiny by school officials for its use of public resources.
The LLC was last registered to Vlachos at the same address as WOSU Public Media headquarters, a building owned by the university. The building boasts state-of-the-art TV and radio studios, production areas, a media learning lab, and collaborative workspaces.
It remains unclear what business activities Vlachos conducted at the building, and WOSU has not provided any immediate responses to inquiries.
The relationship between Vlachos and Carter came to light when JobsOhio, a sponsor of Vlachos’ podcast, hinted at a possible connection between their relationship and Carter’s resignation from the university. Carter, who has been married for nearly 45 years, has been a frequent guest on Vlachos’ podcast since 2024.
Vlachos has referred to Carter as her “dear friend and mentor,” and the two have been seen together at various events. Neither party has publicly addressed the allegations of their relationship.
