EXCLUSIVE: Kamala Harris 'Cleaned House' of Biden Advisers While Taking Over Presidential Campaign… After Admitting She was 'Concerned' About Their Skills

Kamala Harris has candidly expressed her reservations about certain advisors from Joe Biden‘s campaign after she took over his unsuccessful presidential run. This reflection comes just months before the critical election, RadarOnline.com reports.

The former Vice President decided to surround herself with a new team after feeling uneasy about the previous staff’s direction, which she referred to as “dog-and-pony bulls—.”

Throughout her revealing new memoir, 107 Days, Harris recounts the tumultuous early days of her campaign and raises questions about how the team needed to be restructured, particularly concerning which staff members to retain or let go.

She highlights that Biden’s key advisors did not share her vision. “I had my concerns,” she recalls. “Take, for instance, Mike Donilon, one of Joe’s closest advisors, who transitioned from the West Wing to the campaign because he was adept at interpreting Joe’s nuances.”

“Yet, it was unclear how his expertise could be of service to me. Ultimately, he opted to return to the West Wing less than two weeks after joining the campaign.”

Harris expressed dissatisfaction with the campaign’s lack of focus and its tendency to address challenges solely through financial means. She was astonished by the leniency shown towards Biden. She explained, “For months, our campaign had been convening briefings in what we referred to as the ‘tennis hut’ at the White House, but these meetings often left me bewildered.

“Mike Donilon would deliver poll data in terms designed to reassure us, framing subpar results as insignificant, nearly dismissing our cause and urgency.” She continued, reflecting on her chief of staff Lorraine Voles’ reaction post-meeting: ‘If I ever organized that sort of spectacle for you, you’d have my head on a platter.'”

Harris’s memoir is filled with candid reflections about her time under Biden, revealing the substantial influence that former First Lady Jill Biden had on his decision to seek reelection.

“We repeatedly told ourselves, ‘It’s Joe and Jill’s decision,’ almost like a chant. But was it genuine wisdom or mere recklessness?” opines the 60-year-old author. “Looking back, I believe it was quite reckless. The stakes were notably high, and this was a decision that transcended individual ambition and ego; it demanded more careful consideration.”

Harris articulates her views on Biden’s advancing age and the noticeable fatigue it brings, while subtly acknowledging ongoing speculation regarding his cognitive decline. “Some narratives paint a picture of elaborate schemes at the White House to conceal Biden’s capacity. Here’s the truth as I experienced it: Joe Biden is an intelligent leader with extensive experience, capable of fulfilling presidential duties,” she argues.

“Even on his bad days, Biden’s wisdom and ability to judge situations surpass many, including Donald Trump on his best day. However, by 81, Joe was exhibiting signs of tiredness, revealing the toll of age through physical and verbal gaffes,” Harris asserts. “I don’t perceive this as incapacity. If I thought that was the case, I would have spoken up. My loyalty to President Biden is paramount, but so is my loyalty to our country.”
