Protest Escalates During ICE Raid at Home Depot in Sacramento

A protestor opposing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) faced swift repercussions after allegedly vandalizing federal property during an immigration enforcement operation at a Home Depot in Sacramento, California. The protestor reportedly slashed the tires of ICE agents’ vehicles, prompting immediate intervention from federal agents, who tackled and pepper-sprayed him.

According to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, the scene unfolded dramatically as suspected undocumented immigrants scattered in various directions upon the arrival of ICE agents. Ultimately, ten individuals were apprehended during this operation.

“One individual who claimed to be a U.S. citizen was arrested after he allegedly slashed the tire of a federal vehicle and appeared to assault an agent while being subdued,” Melugin reported.

The protestor’s actions drew immediate attention, leading to his swift apprehension by federal agents.

In a related development, President Trump issued a directive on Friday to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and ICE to take immediate action against rioters who throw projectiles at ICE vehicles. Expressing his frustration, he stated, “I am on my way back from Texas and watched in disbelief as THUGS were violently throwing rocks and bricks at ICE Officers while they were moving down a roadway. Tremendous damage was done to these brand new vehicles. I know for a fact that these Officers are having a hard time with allowing this to happen in that it shows such total disrespect for LAW AND ORDER.”

Trump’s directive called for Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, and Border Czar, Tom Homan, to instruct law enforcement to stop and detain individuals who assault officers with projectiles, asserting, “I am giving Total Authorization for ICE to protect itself, just like they protect the Public. I never want to see a car carrying a Law Enforcement Officer attacked again! AUTHORIZATION IMMEDIATELY GRANTED FOR ARREST AND INCARCERATION. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
