During a conversation with Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas), Bartiromo discussed the U.S. Army’s expensive 250th-anniversary celebrations, which coincided with Trump’s 79th birthday, as well as the widespread anti-Trump “No Kings” protests that took place nationwide on the same day.
“I love the way the president handled the protests,” Bartiromo commented, before reading what she believed was a post from Trump on Truth Social.
“A HUGE THANK YOU to all the ‘No Kings’ protesters yesterday! I was very concerned a king was trying to take my place, but thanks to your tireless efforts, I am STILL YOUR PRESIDENT! Great job all!!!”
“Yeah, I saw that,” Crenshaw replied.
“The president had fun with that,” Bartiromo added.
It turned out that the post was actually fake.
