Aurora Fox Arts Center’s Fox Flix
The Aurora Fox Arts Center is hosting a monthly film series called Fox Flix, showcasing classic, family-friendly movies on the big screen. The program aims to fill the void left by the recent closure of some independent movie houses in the metro area. Movies are screened on Saturdays at 2 p.m. at the Aurora Fox Mainstage Theatre located at 9900 E. Colfax Ave. The current schedule includes: March 1, “Labyrinth”; April 19, “The NeverEnding Story”; May 10, “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure”; June 14, “The Goonies”; July 12, “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial”; Aug. 30, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”; Oct. 25, “The Wiz”; Nov. 15, “Encanto”; and Dec. 6, “Scrooged”.
