Fremantle Appoints Ben Crompton as Global Head of Entertainment
Fremantle has announced the appointment of Ben Crompton as its new global head of entertainment. Crompton, a seasoned format veteran, will be stepping into the senior leadership role later this month and will report directly to global CEO Jennifer Mullin.
Crompton will be taking over from Andrew Llinares, who is stepping down from his position.
Prior to joining Fremantle, Crompton was with NBCUniversal as the vice president of international unscripted, where he spearheaded the development of formats, IP, and third-party projects in collaboration with international producers and talent.
With a rich background in the industry, Crompton previously led Lime Pictures’ U.S. operation, delivering successful shows such as Netflix’s “Dance Monsters,” MTV’s “True Love or True Lies,” and E!’s “Dating No Filter.” He has also held key roles at Warner Brothers, Eyeworks, and ITV Studios in various countries.
