The NASCAR General Tire 200 for the year 2025 has come to a thrilling conclusion. Taking place at Talladega Superspeedway, the race saw 38 entries vying for the top spot. In the end, it was Lawless Alan driving the #20 Toyota Camry for Venturini Motorsports who emerged victorious, securing his first career ARCA Menards Series win in overtime.
Alan made a late charge to the front of the pack and was leading the race as it approached the final lap. However, a multi-car crash brought out the caution flag, ultimately declaring Alan as the winner. The 25-year-old driver from Van Nuys, California, crossed the finish line just 0.069 seconds ahead of Thad Moffitt to take the checkered flag.
Reflecting on his victory at Talladega, Alan expressed his gratitude in a post-race interview, stating, “First thing I’ve got to say is God is so good. I didn’t have any sort of plan after Phoenix last year. Then Toyota called me, and we put this deal together with Venturini and AUTOParkIt and I am so thankful to them.”
Following Alan and Moffitt in the top five were Isabella Robusto, Andy Jankowiak, and Jason Kitzmiller. The rest of the top ten included Lavar Scott, Jake Finch, Bryce Haugeberg, pole winner William Sawalich, and Garrett Mitchell.
