FX has recently announced the order of a new drama pilot from Peter Gould, featuring Victoria Pedretti and Kiera Allen in the lead roles. The pilot, titled “Disinherited,” follows the story of two sisters who are unexpectedly thrown into a world of generational wealth and buried crimes due to an inheritance.
Peter Gould, known for his work on the popular AMC series “Better Call Saul,” will not only write the pilot but also direct and executive produce it. Joining him as executive producers are Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, and Nena Rodrigue of T-Street. The pilot is being produced by FX Productions.
In addition to “Disinherited,” FX has also ordered other pilot projects, including a “Snowfall” spinoff starring Gail Bean and Isaiah John, and a drama titled “Seven Sisters” starring Elizabeth Olsen and Cristin Milioti.
Victoria Pedretti, who gained recognition for her roles in Netflix’s “The Haunting of Hill House” and “You,” will be taking on a lead role in “Disinherited.” She has also appeared in films such as “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and “Ponyboi.” Kiera Allen, known for her work in Hulu’s “Run” opposite Sarah Paulson, will also star in the pilot.
Both actresses are represented by top talent agencies and management companies, showcasing their rising star power in the industry. Pedretti is represented by CAA, Entertainment 360, 2PM SHARP, and Sloan Offer, while Allen is represented by Paradigm, Entertainment 360, and Peikoff/Mahan.
