Gateway Pundit Journalist Elijah Schaffer Injured While Covering Violent Protests in Los Angeles
In a dramatic turn of events, Elijah Schaffer, a reporter for Gateway Pundit, found himself on the receiving end of a rubber bullet and tear gas canister during his coverage of the intensifying riots in Los Angeles. These protests are part of a nationwide movement dubbed the “No Kings” demonstrations, which unfolded this past Saturday.
As the situation escalated in the late afternoon, an unlawful assembly was declared at the LA protest. Schaffer documented the collaboration between the United States Marine Corps and the National Guard as they worked together to control the crowd.

By 5 p.m. local time, Schaffer reported that “police are using tear gas and crowd control munitions to break up the crowd.” In a chilling account of his experience, he stated, “Though I identified as press and had my badges/credentials displayed, an officer still shot me with a rubber bullet. Another shot a tear gas can at me. They are targeting press.”
