The streaming giant has revealed that the first three episodes of Season 2 will premiere on September 17, with additional episodes dropping weekly on Wednesdays until the season finale on October 22.
According to Amazon’s description of “Gen V” Season 2, the story continues to unfold as the characters navigate the aftermath of Homelander’s reign. At Godolkin University, a new Dean introduces a curriculum promising to enhance students’ powers. The main characters, Cate, Sam, Marie, Jordan, and Emma, find themselves caught in a brewing war between Humans and Supes, both on and off campus. As they uncover a secret program with deep roots in the university’s history, Marie is unexpectedly drawn into the mystery.
The first season of “Gen V” introduced viewers to a talented ensemble cast including Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, and Sean Patrick Thomas. For Season 2, Hamish Linklater joins the cast as Dean Cipher, adding a new layer of intrigue to the storyline.
After the tragic passing of Chance Perdomo in a motorcycle accident, the production team made the decision not to recast his role as Andre Anderson.
