It was a concerning incident for Gene Simmons, as he collided his SUV with an unattended car in Malibu after losing consciousness while navigating Pacific Coast Highway.
The KISS legend crashed his Lincoln Navigator on a Tuesday afternoon, with authorities reporting that he mentioned fainting while behind the wheel.
According to Shannon, Gene’s wife, he fainted while driving on PCH. His vehicle drifted into opposing traffic and crossed multiple lanes before colliding with a parked car.
Gene was taken to a hospital following the incident but has since been released and is on the mend at home. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported as a result of the crash.
Shannon also mentioned that Gene has an aversion to drinking water and had recently started a new medication, which contributed to his dehydration and subsequent fainting episode.
