George Stephanopoulos Obliterates Mike Johnson’s Illegal Alien Healthcare Lie To His Face

Speaker Mike Johnson and former President Donald Trump face a significant challenge in justifying their recent decision that could lead to a staggering increase in health insurance premiums, potentially soaring by 75% to 100% at the beginning of next year. Their actions, which include shutting down the government, seem inextricably linked to these rising costs, yet they have opted instead to accuse Democrats of pushing healthcare initiatives for “illegal aliens.”

During a recent appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America, anchor George Stephanopoulos posed a straightforward question to Johnson: “The Democratic proposal aims to safeguard millions of Americans from losing their health insurance, Medicaid coverage, or facing steeper healthcare premiums. What are your reasons for opposing it?”

This question encapsulates a fundamental issue that should resonate in every subsequent interview with Republican representatives. Why do they seemingly wish to burden American citizens with increased healthcare costs? What motivates their support for policies that risk millions losing their insurance? Why oppose efforts that provide necessary health coverage for people?

Johnson’s response ultimately fell flat, exposing the shaky ground on which these political decisions are made.
