To request your free media literacy kit, simply visit the Be Internet Awesome website and provide your mailing address. The first 1,000 educators to sign up will receive the kit in October, packed with valuable resources to enhance digital literacy in the classroom.

What can you expect to find inside the free kit? The premium media literacy kit includes Be Internet Awesome lessons accompanied by over 20 student worksheets, an AI literacy guide, posters, a media literacy guide, and Be Internet Awesome stickers.

The curriculum covers five crucial topics essential for promoting digital citizenship and Internet safety:
1. Share With Care: Emphasizing online privacy and understanding digital footprints
2. Don’t Fall for Fake: Educating students on phishing scams, recognizing credible sources, and media literacy
3. Secure Your Secrets: Promoting online security practices and password protection
4. It’s Cool To Be Kind: Addressing and combating negative online behavior
5. When in Doubt, Talk It Out: Encouraging open communication about questionable content and online scenarios
