For those who prefer matte finishes, the Pixel 11 Pro offers a pleasant surprise by deviating from the usual glossy frame seen in Pro models. This change is evident in the black variant, historically known as Obsidian by Google, but expected to be renamed ‘Midnight Haze’ this year.
An official-looking image reveals the frame’s powder-coated design, complemented by a matching metal camera bar. This design closely resembles the Oura Ring 5’s ‘Stealth’ version and will be offered in a larger XL size.
Other color options, reportedly including Light Fog, Pine, and Dune, are expected to feature glossy frames in shades of silver, brass, and gold, according to prior leaks.
Blass provides an in-depth view of the Dune variant, showcasing its vibrant pink/orange rear cover alongside other images that appear to confirm various specifications and features of the Pixel 11 Pro.
The Pixel Glow light, possibly referred to as HiLight, is highlighted in multi-colored and blue modes or switched off. The leak suggests the following features:
- Tensor G6 chipset
- Gemini Intelligence
- Enhanced Pro Zoom up to 120x
- Potential new mode for simultaneous video and photo capture
- Improved Night Sight capabilities
Details will be officially disclosed on 12 August, but there is little left for Google to unveil, especially following the Pixel Tag leak.
