Country music sensation Maggie Baugh‘s father has addressed swirling TikTok speculation amid her touring partnership with Keith Urban, following his separation from Nicole Kidman.
As reported by TMZ, Chuck Baugh, Maggie’s father, uploaded a TikTok clip suggesting that his daughter might “allegedly be the reason for Keith’s divorce from Nicole Kidman.”
“Absolutely not. Just no,” Chuck responded on Facebook on October 1.
In recent days, numerous clips showcasing interactions between Baugh and Urban have resurfaced. Notably, in September, Baugh shared a video showing Urban, 57, altering the lyrics of his song “The Fighter” to include her name.
Urban modified the original lyrics “when they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter” to “when they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player” in a live performance.
Baugh captioned her Instagram post, “Did he just say that?!👀”
Fans later uncovered another moment from April when Urban directed a love lyric from “The Fighter” towards Baugh during a concert in Las Vegas.
“I was born to love you,” Urban sang while seemingly gesturing towards Baugh.
He then added, “Maggie, I’ll be your fighter.”
This clip also showed Urban introducing Baugh to his audience, followed by a warm hug.
Baugh disclosed to Pittsburgh Music Magazine that Urban initially invited her to perform with him at the CMT Music Awards in 2024, and was so impressed he invited her to join his tour.
“Collaborating with [Urban] was akin to attending rock star school. He is a musical encyclopedia,” she expressed to the outlet.

Just hours before the news about Kidman and Urban’s separation surfaced, Baugh shared a video featuring behind-the-scenes moments from a stadium performance with Urban.
“No one at this airport knows that I performed for 21,000 people yesterday with Keith Urban. … Someone pinch me, this was a dream,” she reflected via Facebook on September 30.
<pAt 25, Baugh is establishing herself in the country music scene, having released her solo album, Dear Me, in October 2023. She is set to launch her second studio album later this year, alongside her headlining Entertainers Heart World Tour beginning in October.
The singer-songwriter shared with The Hamilton County Reporter that though she received classical training as a violinist from a young age, she never anticipated her career would take off to such heights.
“I started frequenting Nashville when I was 13, beginning songwriting around the same age,” Baugh revealed in September. “I released my first record at 13. Coming from South Florida, where festival season is year-round, I did a lot of touring there. I moved up to Nashville when I was 18 and have been touring extensively since. Last year, I hit the road with Keith Urban, and it’s been an exhilarating ride, for sure.”
Us Weekly has confirmed that Kidman filed for divorce from Urban on September 30, after nearly two decades of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple agreed that Kidman, 58, would be the “primary residential parent” for their two daughters: Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14. A temporary parenting plan allows for the girls to spend 306 days each year with Kidman and 59 with Urban.
The plan stipulates that “in the unlikely event the parties disagree on a major decision regarding either minor child, [Nicole] shall have final decision-making authority,” as stated in the documents.
A subsequent source disclosed to Us that Kidman and Urban had been “quietly separated for some time” while trying to determine the future of their marriage.
“This wasn’t Nicole’s decision, and she is heartbroken,” the insider shared with Us. “Trust had been lost, and it was beyond repair. Nicole had been striving to salvage their marriage and wished for this matter to remain private. She had kept the reality of their situation hidden from most friends for months.”
Us has sought comments from Kidman, Urban, and Baugh regarding this situation.
