CHICAGO — A woman in Edgewater fell victim to a carjacking by two armed men on Thanksgiving morning. The incident took place in the 5400 block of North Kenmore around 6 a.m. The suspects, both wearing ski masks and armed with handguns, stole the woman’s property and fled in her blue 2021 Jeep Cherokee. They were last seen heading onto Lake Shore Drive at 6:05 a.m., possibly with an accomplice following in a white Kia sedan.
Witnesses at the scene described the carjackers as Black men wearing ski masks and black jackets. One of the suspects was dressed in all black attire, while details about the second individual remain unknown.
