Gushwork, an India-founded startup, is making waves in the world of AI-powered search tools. The company is helping businesses navigate platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity to attract and retain customers. With early success drawing the attention of investors, Gushwork recently announced a significant milestone in its journey.

A recent seed funding round led by Susquehanna International Group (SIG) and Lightspeed, with participation from several other investors, raised $9 million for Gushwork. This funding brings the startup’s total funding to $11 million, positioning it for further growth and expansion. The company’s valuation post-funding stands at $33 million, a substantial increase from its earlier valuation.

As the landscape of web search evolves with the rise of AI technologies, Gushwork is strategically positioned to help businesses leverage AI-driven discovery channels. By utilizing automated marketing agents, the company assists businesses in enhancing their online visibility and reaching their target audience effectively.

Founded in 2023 by Nayrhit Bhattacharya and Adithya Venkatesh, Gushwork initially focused on streamlining workflows for small and medium businesses using a blend of AI and human expertise. However, the strong demand for search optimization services prompted the company to pivot towards search-led marketing.

Gushwork’s platform employs a network of AI agents to generate and update search-optimized content, establish backlinks, and track inbound leads. This approach enables businesses to enhance their presence in traditional search results and AI-generated responses without the need for extensive in-house marketing teams.

With over 300 paying customers, primarily in the U.S., Gushwork has achieved significant revenue growth and aims to further accelerate its growth trajectory. The company’s focus on AI-driven search has resulted in a substantial increase in inbound leads for its customers, translating into tangible business outcomes.

As businesses increasingly rely on AI-driven discovery channels for research and vendor selection, Gushwork is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend. The company plans to utilize the recent funding to expand its engineering team, enhance model accuracy, and scale its go-to-market efforts.

Headquartered in Delaware with an office in Bengaluru, Gushwork is poised for continued success in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-powered search tools. With a growing customer base and a focus on innovation, the company is set to make a significant impact in the realm of online visibility and marketing strategies.
