During an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Last Word” with Lawrence O’Donnell, Tribe did not mince words when discussing President Trump. He stated that the president lacks understanding of the issues at hand and is simply spewing misinformation. Tribe went on to say that Trump has a deep disdain for intellect and excellence in higher education.
Tribe directly addressed students who may feel threatened by Trump’s actions, advising them not to be afraid. He described Trump as a weak leader who relies on intimidation tactics.
Tribe also pointed out Trump’s legal track record, highlighting the numerous cases where the president has faced legal challenges and come out on the losing end. According to Tribe, Trump lost over 95% of the cases in May alone, a clear indication of his lack of success in the legal arena.
