Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has suggested that Bryan Mbeumo should make a move to Chelsea this summer. Mbeumo, who has been in impressive form for Brentford this season, scoring 20 goals and providing eight assists in the Premier League, has attracted interest from several clubs across the league. While Manchester United and Newcastle United are reportedly in the race for the Cameroonian forward, Collymore believes that a move to Stamford Bridge could also be a good fit for him.

In a column for Caught Offside, Collymore expressed his admiration for Mbeumo, stating that he believes the 25-year-old would be an upgrade on Pedro Neto and Noni Madueke for Chelsea. He also mentioned that Mbeumo could provide valuable backup in the striker position, potentially supporting Delap in the team.

Despite being under contract with Brentford until 2026 and having a reported price tag of £60 million, Chelsea has not shied away from investing in the right players in recent transfer windows. This leaves the door open for a potential move for Mbeumo to Stamford Bridge.

In another transfer development, Chelsea has reportedly agreed on a deal to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town this summer. The Athletic reported that the English striker has attracted interest from multiple clubs, including Manchester United, AC Milan, Juventus, Everton, Newcastle United, and Nottingham Forest. However, it appears that Delap has chosen Chelsea as his preferred destination, with the Blues activating his £30 million release clause following Ipswich Town’s relegation from the Premier League.

Delap, who scored 12 goals in 40 games across competitions this season, is likely to join Chelsea next season. Personal terms are not expected to be a hurdle in the deal, and it seems that the young striker is set to make the move to Stamford Bridge. In a potential swap deal, Blues striker Marc Guiu could move to Ipswich Town on loan, as per reports.

In conclusion, the summer transfer window promises to be an exciting time for Chelsea, with potential arrivals of Bryan Mbeumo and Liam Delap adding depth and quality to the squad. With these significant signings on the horizon, Chelsea fans can look forward to an exciting season ahead.
