Get ready for some thrills because the Halloween queen is already whipping up a spine-tingling masterpiece. Heidi Klum has shared that her costume for this year is becoming a striking sensation with a first eerie glimpse to celebrate the upcoming month.
The 52-year-old model posted an image of her intricate and spooky 3D mask featuring an exaggerated upper lip on Wednesday, October 1, intriguing fans about her plans for the 2025 star-studded event.
Klum credited prosthetic makeup artist Mike Marino, who previously collaborated with her on her E.T. costume from 2024, debuting at the bash alongside her husband, Tom Kaulitz. “This is merely the beginning 👀👻🎃💖 @prorenfx #HeidiHalloween,” she captioned her Instagram post, disabling comments.
Marino boasts an impressive portfolio of Hollywood transformations, including his work with Colin Farrell in The Penguin, where he portrayed the scarred gangster Oz Cobb in Gotham.
Moreover, he transformed Sebastian Stan for A Different Man, where Stan portrayed an actor grappling with neurofibromatosis.

Klum indicated that her costume creation process began as early as September when she shared a video of herself biting down to create a dental mold, stating, “Halloween is just around the corner 🕷️👻🎃❤️.”
Reflecting on last year’s costume, she expressed, “I wanted something that evoked nostalgia,” recounting memories while speaking to Vogue. “I thought about which dolls I had, my favorite movies, and cherished childhood memories.”
“It’s my all-time favorite childhood movie — I’ve watched it countless times,” the former America’s Got Talent judge stated. “This film inspired me to dream and imagine the possibilities of life beyond our world.”
The cover girl also discussed her preparation for Halloween in another interview with People, explaining how seriously she takes her costume planning: “Because molds need to be created, and prosthetics have to be fashioned, fittings are necessary.”
“The entire process is lengthy and requires significant planning. I aim for a memorable reveal because I know my fans, especially those who are Halloween enthusiasts, love to see unique designs,” Klum elaborated.
On the pressure she feels, Klum admitted, “I feel a responsibility to meet their expectations and strive to give my all.”
In 2023, Klum stunned in a spectacular peacock ensemble. Accompanied by a troupe of backup dancers bedecked in vibrant feathers, she donned a luxurious royal blue bodysuit and mask.
Prior to that, she took on the form of an earthworm for her 2022 celebration, where Kaulitz, 36, joined her as a fisherman.
Klum is renowned for her extravagant costumes, having previously dressed as a flesh-eating alien, a life-sized Princess Fiona, a zombie doll, a werewolf, Jessica Rabbit, and even a human body, among many unforgettable outfits.
