Here’s what today’s schedule at Texas Motor Speedway looks like

The 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and Truck Series is set to take place on the 1.5-mile track on Friday, May 1, marking the start of the 11th weekend of racing at Texas Motor Speedway.

Drivers in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series will engage in practice at 5 pm ET, followed by qualifying at 6:05 pm ET, to determine the starting positions for Saturday’s main race.

Similarly, NASCAR Truck Series drivers will also participate in practice and qualifying sessions ahead of their primary race.

The weather forecast for Friday in Fort Worth, Texas, indicates sunny skies with a high of 80 degrees in the afternoon and no expected rain for the start of the O’Reilly Series qualifying event.
