Frank Cozzolino, known for his role on HGTV’s “Holmes on Homes,” sadly passed away at the age of 56 after battling lymphoma. His cause of death was revealed by his daughter, Filomena, who shared the news on Instagram. Cozzolino had previously undergone a liver transplant in 2017 and a second transplant in July of the same year after his liver disease returned. Despite facing numerous post-operation complications, he continued to fight until he was diagnosed with lymphoma.
Filomena described her father as a man full of passion, empathy, brutal honesty, and integrity. She mentioned that Cozzolino had a third chance at life with his second transplant, but unfortunately, he ultimately lost his battle with lymphoma on December 4, 2025. Despite the challenges he faced, he never gave up and pushed the boundaries of what his medical team, friends, and family thought was possible.
In her heartfelt tribute, Filomena expressed her admiration for her father’s strength and resilience in the face of his cancer diagnosis. She thanked him for the time they spent together and acknowledged his determination to keep fighting until the end. She encouraged loved ones and fans to cherish their memories of Cozzolino and continue spreading kindness and generosity in his honor.
Cozzolino had a profound impact on those around him, including his co-star Mike Holmes, who expressed his devastation at the loss of his friend. Holmes praised Cozzolino’s skills and caring nature, emphasizing how he made a difference in every home they worked on together. Despite the grief of his passing, Holmes encouraged others to remember the positive influence Cozzolino had and to honor his memory by supporting organ donation and cancer research.
In accordance with Cozzolino’s wishes, there will be no funeral service held in his honor. Instead, Filomena requested that people focus on the joyous times they shared with him and consider donating to organ transplant or cancer research in his memory. Cozzolino’s legacy lives on through his work on “Holmes on Homes” and the lives he touched along the way. Recent advancements in technology have revolutionized the way we live, work, and communicate. From smartphones to smart homes, artificial intelligence to virtual reality, technology has infiltrated almost every aspect of our daily lives. And one area that has seen significant growth and development in recent years is the field of robotics.
Robotics, the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, has made great strides in recent years. Robots are no longer confined to industrial settings or science fiction movies; they are now being used in a wide range of applications, from healthcare to agriculture to entertainment.
One of the most exciting developments in robotics is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enable robots to think and learn like humans. This has led to the development of autonomous robots that can perform tasks without human intervention. These robots are being used in warehouses to pick and pack orders, on farms to plant and harvest crops, and even in hospitals to assist with surgeries.
Another area of robotics that has seen significant growth is the development of humanoid robots. These robots are designed to resemble and interact with humans in a lifelike way. They can walk, talk, and even express emotions, making them ideal for tasks that require human-like abilities, such as customer service or caregiving.
Robots are also being used in dangerous or hazardous environments where humans cannot or should not go. For example, robots are being used to clean up nuclear waste, inspect pipelines, and search for survivors in disaster zones. These robots not only keep humans out of harm’s way but also perform tasks that would be impossible or too risky for humans to do.
The field of robotics is constantly evolving, with new advancements and innovations being made every day. As technology continues to progress, we can expect to see even more sophisticated and capable robots being developed, further blurring the line between humans and machines. And while some may fear the rise of the robots, it is clear that they have the potential to greatly improve our lives and make the world a better place.
