He accused them of failing to address the rampant lawlessness gripping the state, particularly in the wake of their inadequate response to the wildfires that devastated thousands of homes earlier this year.

As California continues to grapple with the aftermath of these wildfires, which ravaged communities in places like the Pacific Palisades, a series of anti-ICE protests have erupted in Los Angeles, raising questions about the leadership in the state.

In his critique, Gibson expressed his discontent with Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass for their handling of the violent protests that erupted last weekend in Los Angeles. He stated, “Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass have already proven their incompetence and poor leadership during the Los Angeles wildfires.”

He elaborated, “Now, as we witness rampant lawlessness and civil unrest, it’s never been more apparent that they are unable to respond effectively and responsibly during calamities. Whether this stems from sheer incompetence or a more sinister intent, the truth remains clear.”

“California is in a state of turmoil,” Gibson continued. “And I pose this question to my fellow Angelenos: ‘Why are Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass still in office? How much longer will we endure their destructive decision-making disguised as leadership?’”

“It’s time to reclaim our community and our state, to reinstate power and privilege in the hands of capable leaders whose priorities are to protect us and uphold the values on which this nation was founded,” he concluded.
