The convicted Hollywood producer who was found guilty of drugging and raping multiple women had a disturbing obsession with porn star Ron Jeremy, according to newly released police evidence and interviews. David Pearce, who was recently convicted of two first-degree murders and multiple rapes, was a personal friend of Ron Jeremy and had filled his apartment with signed memorabilia and “trophies for pornography,” as revealed in a search warrant obtained by the LA Times.

Pearce’s friendship with Ron Jeremy, who himself faced numerous sexual assault charges and was deemed unfit for trial due to neurocognitive decline, escalated to a sick obsession, according to family members. In a heated argument with his father, Pearce reportedly shouted, “You’re not my Dad anymore. Ron Jeremy is my Dad!” his sister Allison Pearce revealed.

Prior to the fatal incidents involving model Christy Giles and her friend Hilda Arzola, Pearce had been investigated for multiple rape allegations. Despite maintaining an image as a Hollywood big shot, Pearce had been on law enforcement’s radar for years.

Critics argue that law enforcement should have intervened sooner to prevent the tragic deaths of Giles and Arzola. Joshua Ritter, a victim’s rights attorney, emphasized the importance of identifying and stopping predators like Pearce before they harm others.

The events leading to the deaths of Giles and Arzola involved a drug-fueled party where Pearce drugged the women with fentanyl-laced cocaine and spiked drinks. When the women overdosed and passed out, Pearce callously remarked, “Dead girls don’t talk,” refusing to seek help. He and his roommate then disposed of the bodies outside two different hospitals.

Following his arrest, multiple women came forward with allegations of assault against Pearce, dating back to 2007. The Hollywood producer now faces a life sentence for his crimes, including two counts of first-degree murder and seven counts of rape. Despite firing his defense team, Pearce intends to seek a new trial.

The disturbing details surrounding Pearce’s crimes shed light on the dark underbelly of Hollywood and the need for justice for the victims of sexual violence. The case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of holding predators accountable and preventing further harm to innocent individuals.
