On Mother’s Day, the Department of Homeland Security will pay tribute to the mother of an autistic woman who was tragically raped and murdered by an MS-13 gang member in the US illegally. Tammy Nobles, the mother of the victim Kayla Hamilton, will be honored in a solemn message.

The tribute features a video that showcases photos of Hamilton while her mother recounts the devastating experience of learning about her daughter’s death at the hands of an illegal gang member from El Salvador.

Nobles expresses her shock and disbelief at the tragedy, especially considering her belief that the Biden Administration had secured the border against such threats.

In the video, Nobles expresses her gratitude towards President Trump and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem for their efforts to combat such crimes and prioritize the safety of children across the nation.

The Mother’s Day tribute also highlights the case of Walter Martinez, the MS-13 gang member who murdered Hamilton and was sentenced to 70 years in prison after crossing the border under the Biden Administration.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin emphasizes the importance of remembering victims like Kayla and the need for a secure border to prevent such tragedies from occurring.

The dedication also sheds light on other heinous crimes committed by MS-13 members, including the quadruple murder in a Long Island park in 2017.

Secretary Noem has relaunched VOICE, a government agency supporting victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants, and continues to advocate for stronger border security.

President Trump’s designation of MS-13 and other gangs as foreign terrorist organizations further underscores the need to address the threat posed by such criminal entities.
