Honor has recently unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Honor Magic 8 Pro, offering a range of impressive features and upgrades. Serving as the successor to the Honor Magic 7 Pro, this new device maintains the brand’s distinctive design with its signature ‘squircle’ camera module and rounded rear panel.
Despite its familiar appearance, the Honor Magic 8 Pro is slightly smaller in size, measuring 161.15 x 75 x 8.4mm and weighing 213g (10g lighter than its predecessor). The device sports a 6.71-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1256 x 2808, a 1 to 120Hz refresh rate, 4320Hz PWM Dimming, and a peak HDR brightness of 6,000 nits. The device features a triple camera system, including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a remarkable 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.7x zoom. The periscope telephoto camera, dubbed the SuperNight Camera, promises exceptional low-light performance.
The device also introduces Magic Colour, an AI-powered color engine that can extract 16.77 million colors and allow users to adjust the tones of their photos in real-time. On the front, there is a 50MP selfie camera accompanied by a 3D ToF sensor for secure facial recognition.

The device incorporates AI features such as AI Deepfake Detection and AI Voice Cloning Detection for enhanced security. The MagicOS 10 promises seven years of OS and security updates, aligning it with other flagship devices in the market.
