A Weibo post has confirmed that Honor’s collaboration with German video camera expert Arri is a key component of the product offering.
This partnership is highlighted in the image provided and on the Chinese pre-order web page, both of which give a complete view of the Honor Magic 9’s design.

The standout feature is its bold Moss Green color, ensuring it captures attention.
However, the phone’s overall shape offers less novelty, as it appears to shift from the design of the Honor Magic 8 Pro towards a resemblance with the iPhone 17 Pro and the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro. Its lines, the dual-tone glass panel, and the camera module’s shape closely mirror Apple’s design.
A significant distinction exists in the camera setup. The telephoto camera, a robust 200Mp 1/1.4-inch unit, is the primary focus. It dominates the design with a large, circular black section encased in ridged metal.
This design choice evokes the look of a traditional camera, clearly an intentional design element. Additionally, there’s an image of the phone showcasing its optional 500mm and 200mm teleconverter kits.
