Aryna Sabalenka emerged victorious at the 2026 Miami Open, defeating Coco Gauff with scores of 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in the final held on Saturday, March 28. This win marks the Belarusian’s third title of the season, following her successes at the Brisbane International and the Indian Wells Masters, thereby achieving the prestigious ‘Sunshine Double.’

Sabalenka’s triumph in Miami earned her a substantial $1,151,380 from the tournament’s overall prize pool of $9,415,725, while Gauff received $612,340. Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina and the 13th seed each secured $340,190 after their semifinal exits.

Jessica Pegula, the fifth seed, along with 10th seed Victoria Mboko, 12th seed Belinda Bencic, and Hailey Baptiste, each earned $193,645 for reaching the quarterfinals.

Players who exited in the fourth round, including Alexandra Eala, Mirra Andreeva, Sorana Cirstea, Amanda Anisimova, Jaqueline Cristian, Talia Gibson, Jelena Ostapenko, and Zheng Qinwen, walked away with $105,720 each.

Competitors such as Magda Linette, Katie Boulter, Anastasia Zakharova, Marie Bouzkova, Alycia Parks, Elise Mertens, Diana Shnaider, Yuliia Starodubtseva, Leylah Fernandez, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Marta Kostyuk, Iva Jovic, Elina Svitolina, Jasmine Paolini, Madison Keys, and Caty McNally took home $61,865 each for their third-round finishes.

Those who were eliminated in the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament, including Iga Swiatek, Laura Siegemund, Clara Tauson, Camila Osorio, Anna Blinkova, Anna Kalinskaya, Elsa Jacquemot, McCartney Kessler, Elisabetta Cocciaretto, Elvina Kalieva, Linda Noskova, Zeynep Sonmez, Tereza Valentov, Cristina Bucsa, Ajla Tomljanovic, Francesca Jones, Oksana Selekhmeteva, Peyton Stearns, Lilli Tagger, Naomi Osaka, Paula Badosa, Kamilla Rakhimova, Yulia Putintseva, Taylor Townsend, Dayana Yastremska, Liudmila Samsonova, Emerson Jones, Elena-Gabriela Ruse, Sloane Stephens, Wang Xinyu, and Ann Li, each pocketed $36,110.

Several players, such as Venus Williams, Eva Lys, Katie Volynets, Beatriz Haddad Maia, Sofia Kenin, and Katerina Siniakova, exited the Miami Open in the opening round, earning $24,335 despite their early departures.
