Grass Seeds in Grounded 2 are essential items that play a crucial role in transforming your Omni-Tool into a Shovel. The game tasks you with obtaining this upgrade early on, and luckily, the location of Grass Seeds is not too far away. As with other survival-craft games, one might assume that Grass Seeds can be obtained simply by chopping grass.

In this action-adventure game, players will face various obstacles that require them to gather necessary resources. While Grass Seeds in Grounded 2 are not the rarest items, they are vital for the early stages of the game. Although initially searching for this item may seem tedious, once you know where to look, spotting Grass Seeds becomes much easier.

To obtain Grass Seeds in Grounded 2, you need to look for grass with florets on top, which are pointy yellow grass flowers. These can be easily identified and are typically found on green grass clusters rather than dry grass. Once you locate a suitable grass stem, use your Omni-Axe to chop it down. Be sure to pick up the Grass Seed that drops from the grass, as multiple Seeds can be obtained from a single stem.

Despite their appearance, Grass Seeds in Grounded 2 are not heavy. You only need one Grass Seed for the early game upgrade, so make sure to collect it and return to the Ranger Station to complete the upgrade. Currently, Grass Seeds have limited uses in the game, primarily for crafting the first tier of the Omni-Shovel. However, as the game is still in Early Access, it is possible that Grass Seeds may have additional functions in future updates.

The Omni-Shovel is a valuable tool that allows players to dig up various items such as grubs and larvae. By upgrading the tool further, players can unlock higher tiers that enable them to dig up more challenging elements on the map.

In addition to the Omni-Tool upgrade, Grass Seeds in Grounded 2 can also be used to create Green Machine drinks. These drinks have specific functions in the game and can assist players in solving problems that require higher-tier digging power and other tool variations. Players can find recipes for these items in the game and gather the necessary resources to craft them.

While Grass Seeds in Grounded 2 may receive more functionality in future updates, for now, they remain essential for obtaining the Shovel upgrade for the Omni-Tool. Stay tuned to the official Grounded 2 website for updates on potential patches and new features. And remember to keep an eye on Sportskeeda for more guides, news, and updates on the game.
