The prestigious BAFTA TV awards are making a grand return this year at London’s Royal Festival Hall. The ceremony will be broadcast on iPlayer and BBC One in the U.K. on Sunday, May 11 at 7 p.m. BST. For viewers in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the Nordics, the event can be enjoyed on demand through BritBox starting at 2 p.m. ET.

One of the standout nominees this year is Netflix’s “Baby Reindeer,” which has garnered eight nominations, including nods for limited drama, leading actor Richard Gadd, supporting actresses Jessica Gunning and Nava Mau, as well as for writing. Notably, Nava Mau is the first openly transgender nominee in the history of the BAFTA TV Awards.

Among the 44 performances being celebrated, 21 are first-time nominees, showcasing fresh talent in the industry. Notable newcomers include Jonathan Pryce for “Slow Horses,” Marisa Abela for “Industry,” and Nicola Coughlan for “Big Mood.”

Several shows have made a mark with multiple nominations, including Disney+’s “Rivals,” Apple TV+’s “Slow Horses” starring Gary Oldman, and ITV’s “Mr Bates vs the Post Office,” each receiving six nominations. The BBC documentary “Life and Death in Gaza” and Disney+’s “Say Nothing,” which recently won a USC Scripter award, have also been recognized with four nominations each.

Other noteworthy nominees include Peacock’s reality show “The Traitors,” HBO’s “Industry,” and Apple TV+’s “Shrinking.” For those looking to catch up on the nominated shows, titles like “Industry,” “The Traitors,” “The Graham Norton Show,” “Ludwig,” “Sherwood,” “Blue Lights,” and “Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light” are currently available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
