Trump Aide Kash Patel’s Silence on Epstein Conspiracy Theory Enrages Base
In 2023, former Trump aide and current FBI director Kash Patel had once demanded Republicans to “put on your big boy pants and let us know who the pedophiles are.” Fast forward to today, Patel’s silence on the Epstein conspiracy theory is enraging the same audience he once stirred.
Another key figure, Dan Bongino, who is now Patel’s deputy, had previously emphasized the importance of the Epstein client list. However, in a recent appearance on Fox News, Bongino dismissed the existence of such a list, stating that “there’s no list, and Epstein killed himself.”
Vice President JD Vance, who was also an early promoter of the Epstein conspiracy, had tweeted in October about the need to release the Epstein list. However, in a recent statement, Vance downplayed reports about a 2003 birthday message allegedly sent by Trump to Epstein, labeling it as “media noise.”
Donald Trump’s response to the Epstein controversy has only fueled the sense of betrayal among his base. Initially dismissing the documents as “boring,” Trump later attacked his critics, labeling them as “weaklings” and accusing former supporters of falling for the “Jeffrey Epstein hoax… hook, line, and sinker.”
