The HR Executive Caught Canoodling at Coldplay Concert to Speak at Crisis Communications Conference
The HR executive who made headlines for her cozy moment with her boss at a Coldplay concert will take the stage as a keynote speaker at a high-profile crisis communications conference in April.
Kristin Cabot, a 53-year-old mother of two, will be sharing the spotlight at PRWeek’s 2026 “Crisis Comms Conference” with Dini von Mueffling, the founder of the communications firm Cabot enlisted after the scandal.
Tickets for the conference are priced at $875 each.
Cabot faced a public relations nightmare after being captured on camera with her married boss, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, at a Coldplay concert in July.
Both Cabot and Byron resigned in the aftermath of the scandal.
Despite the fallout, Cabot has stepped into the spotlight, giving interviews and discussing the challenges she faced.
At the conference, Cabot and von Mueffling will present a session titled “Kristin Cabot: Taking back the narrative,” focusing on Cabot’s journey through public shaming and reclaiming her story.
The conference aims to provide attendees with strategies for handling unexpected crises in today’s media landscape.
Some have criticized the conference’s high ticket price, comparing it to the cost of a Coldplay concert ticket.
Other speakers at the conference include representatives from organizations like The Trevor Project and Blackbird.AI.
