Veteran Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik recently shared a spine-chilling experience of encountering paranormal activities while on tour with the India A team in South Africa. The incident took place when the team was stationed in Sun City, and Karthik vividly recalled feeling something eerie and unsettling moving in his room during the night. Although he couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was, the sensation was enough to send shivers down his spine.

In a video shared by Cricbuzz on YouTube, Karthik narrated the incident, expressing his uncertainty about the supernatural encounter. He described the unnerving feeling he experienced, highlighting the mysterious nature of the occurrence. Despite his confusion, the fear and discomfort he felt were undeniable, leaving a lasting impression on the cricketer.

Transitioning to his cricketing endeavors, Dinesh Karthik showcased his talent during the 2024 Indian Premier League, where he played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). His explosive performances earned him 326 runs in 13 innings at a remarkable strike rate of 187.35. Following his retirement from professional cricket on his 39th birthday, Karthik assumed the role of batting coach and mentor for RCB, showcasing his commitment to the sport.

Looking ahead, Karthik is set to make a comeback on the cricket field in the upcoming edition of South Africa’s SA20, having been signed by Paarl Royals. Despite his shift from player to mentor, Karthik’s passion for the game remains unwavering, as he continues to contribute to the sport in various capacities.

In a lighter moment, Karthik revealed his admiration for music maestro AR Rahman, expressing his desire to swap lives with the legendary musician for a week. As a devoted fan of Rahman’s work, Karthik praised the artist’s creativity and consistency over the years, emphasizing his curiosity to delve into Rahman’s thought process and creative genius.
