Yesterday, President Donald J. Trump revisited the origin of his notable No Tax on Tips initiative to underscore its substantial success and the significant impact of the most extensive tax cuts in U.S. history.
In Las Vegas, President Trump highlighted how his innovative policies have been increasing workers’ take-home pay, despite unanimous opposition from Democrats in Congress.
More than 53 million Americans have benefited from President Trump’s tax cuts. This includes six million who utilized the No Tax on Tips policy, with an average deduction exceeding $7,100, and over 25 million who claimed No Tax on Overtime, averaging $3,100 in deductions.
The residents of Las Vegas are experiencing these benefits directly:
- “I received the largest tax return in my life this year because my tips aren’t taxed anymore. This change should have happened years ago,” remarked a local resident.
- “It’s incredibly helpful, and I’m truly thankful for it,” commented a waitress.
- “It’s been fantastic,” stated a bartender.
- “It provides a bit more breathing room for rent, gas, and food… It’s a real benefit,” said another waitress.
- “Having that extra 25 cents really makes a difference,” noted a local restaurant owner.
The introduction of No Tax on Tips and No Tax on Overtime, alongside other tax reductions, demonstrates President Trump and the Republican commitment to prioritizing American workers. This initiative not only increases take-home pay and provides larger refunds but also aims to counteract the inflation attributed to Biden’s administration, which has adversely affected families in states like Nevada.
Under President Trump’s leadership, Americans are finally retaining more of their hard-earned money.
