Reports from various media outlets have confirmed that Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have ended their relationship five months following the birth of their child.
A source revealed to People that the couple is currently “not getting along.” The insider explained that they faced challenges while Hewitt was pregnant, as their relationship progressed very rapidly and they lacked a deep understanding of each other. Despite these difficulties, Davidson and Hewitt are attempting to navigate co-parenting.
The source further mentioned, “She’s not opposing Pete’s involvement with the baby, but it hasn’t been an easy process. Their goal is to eventually become friends and engage in shared activities, but reaching that point seems challenging at the moment. Pete is quite sentimental and desires to be with the mother of his child. A reconciliation is not entirely off the table, and the breakup was mutual.”
In addition, another source informed Us Weekly that the pair “made efforts to make it work,” but faced various challenges, including the responsibilities of parenting as two individuals who were still getting to know each other. “They are both striving to make it work and have adjusted their schedules to accommodate the baby,” the source added.
