Steven McBee Jr. and Allie Eklund faced a significant setback in their relationship following a visit to a country music festival.
During their trip to Indio, California, for Stagecoach, featuring headliners Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Post Malone, McBee accused Eklund of infidelity.
“I still don’t know exactly what happened,” McBee stated in a since-deleted Instagram video on April 27, 2026. “I just know there was hand holding, grinding, dancing, drunken stupor at an afterparty.”
Subsequently, Eklund attempted to defend herself and expressed disappointment that her boyfriend took to social media without first hearing her perspective.
“I’ve handled everything in this relationship privately and with respect, even when it hasn’t been easy,” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “This situation is painful and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”

In November 2025, McBee confirmed his relationship with Eklund on Instagram by posting affectionate photos with the caption, “Never been so certain.”
The couple reportedly met through a mutual friend, William Van Orsdel, who provided McBee with an “A+ referral and assist.”
“Went from a dm (actually dm’s*) floating in Allie’s inbox to actually getting a date locked down thanks to Will hahahaha,” McBee shared.
Their relationship was further solidified when they attended BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas that same month.

In another Instagram Story, McBee mentioned, “5:03 AM. One person at the gym on a Monday. The other drunk and cheating at an afterparty. Crazy.”
He further alleged in an Instagram video that Eklund was not ready to settle down, focusing more on attending major concerts, events, and festivals.

Eklund expressed being at a “loss for words” after seeing McBee’s social media posts.
“Posting everything online before we talked is extremely disheartening and extremely unfair, considering l’ve protected Steven many times during the course of our relationship,” she claimed via her Instagram Story on April 27, 2026. “I chose not to respond to [Steven] immediately because he has a history of verbally abusing me while he’s in a heightened emotional state, and I felt it was more appropriate to have a private, level-headed conversation once emotions had settled. Unfortunately, that opportunity wasn’t given to me before he decided to make this situation public, and it’s even more disappointing that he made references to promote his TV show, as this situation is very real for me and my family, who prefer to live privately.”
Eklund added that she was merely enjoying the festival “with a group of friends.”
Eklund suggested she is ready to move on from McBee, stating, “I’m not looking to escalate things any further. I’d like this to end here. I’ve said what feels necessary in response to his actions and I plan on taking time to process and move forward.”

Allie Eklund Reveals Alleged Text Messages From Steven McBee Jr.
Following her denial of cheating on McBee, Eklund shared a series of text messages she reportedly received from her boyfriend after Stagecoach.
“Allie — you wake your f***ing ass up and call me right now … Schedule your flight back to Missouri to come get all your f***ing s*** and get gone,” McBee allegedly wrote in consecutive texts, according to Eklund’s screenshots from April 27, 2026.
Eklund clarified in her messages that the man McBee accused her of getting close to was actually a “friend from Nashville.” McBee rejected this explanation, calling Eklund a “f***ing hooker” and accusing her of exposing herself at Stagecoach.
McBee also allegedly criticized Eklund’s attire and behavior, encouraging her to “embrace how much of a whore [she was].”
“It was my fault for trying to change a street corner whore into a good woman,” he added.
Steven McBee Jr.’s Ex-Girlfriend Calah Jackson Reacts to Allie Eklund Scandal
After Eklund released screenshots of McBee’s abusive text messages on April 27, 2026, McBee’s former girlfriend Calah Jackson commented on their tumultuous relationship.

Steven McBee Jr. Apologizes for Allie Eklund Texts After Stagecoach Drama
McBee released a statement on April 29, 2026, addressing the “cruel and degrading” text messages he sent to Eklund after learning of her alleged infidelity, acknowledging his overreaction.
“Early Monday morning, I was made aware of an incident involving someone I love deeply and I reacted out of absolute hurt and betrayal,” he began his Instagram statement, noting that while there are “videos and details” that provide context, he will not share them out of “respect.”
McBee conceded, “What followed is my responsibility alone. No level of personal hurt and betrayal justifies the language I used and I am ashamed of those messages.”
He explained, “While I am absolutely devastated by the decisions and actions of someone I fully trusted and planned a life with, taking those frustrations and pain out on her with cruel and degrading words was wrong. I will not discuss the other details and videos I received; my focus remains entirely on my own actions.”
McBee revealed that he’s been in therapy “to manage my emotions during high-intensity moments and I am now taking advanced steps to ensure I react better when faced with adversity.”
He concluded by writing, “I also want to apologize to anyone I have disrespected or spoken to harshly in business, friendships or past relationships. This has never been my intent, and I am committed to doing the work to be a better person.”
McBee confessed, “I am not asking for sympathy but I am grateful to anyone willing to give me the chance to grow. Time to get to work.”

Although Bravo has not yet announced a premiere date for season 3 of The McBee Dynasty, McBee hinted that new episodes are expected to arrive for summer.
“I’m good, guys. I appreciate all the love and support,” he shared. “I got a damn good dog. I got a damn good family. I got a damn good life.”
Eklund also previously revealed that she filmed episodes with McBee during late 2025.
“Stepping into Season 3 felt unfamiliar, but after multiple open and honest conversations, I had a sense of peace about supporting Steven through it. I made it very clear from the beginning that I’m not an actress — I wasn’t there to play a character or perform for the cameras,” Eklund told Naluda magazine in December 2025.
