Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot on Friday, sparking a whirlwind of media attention. To help you catch up, here’s a comprehensive look at the star-studded event held at Madison Square Garden.
The guest list reportedly exceeded 1,000 attendees. Variety noted that invitees received watermarked digital invitations accompanied by NDAs. Celebrities seen entering MSG included Ed Sheeran, Bradley Cooper, ZoĂ« Kravitz, Jack Antonoff, Gigi Hadid, Dakota Johnson, Ethan Hawke, MGK, Jason Sudeikis, Hugh Grant, and Camila Cabello. Others who made subtler entrances included Anya Taylor-Joy, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Paul McCartney, Sacha Baron Cohen, AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron, and Bob Iger. Harry Styles was invited but couldn’t attend due to his tour. Sources informed Variety that Jennifer Aniston also received an invitation but was absent.
Additional attendees, as confirmed by People, included Emma Stone, Stephen Colbert, Conan OâBrien, Millie Bobby Brown, Ice Spice, Brad Pitt, Gracie Abrams, Ronan Farrow, St. Vincent, Adam Scott, Jennifer Lopez, Paul Rudd, and Seth Meyers.
Over a dozen sources told Variety that attendees had limited information regarding the wedding’s theme or dress code. Many were simply instructed to be in New York City on the morning of July 3 to receive further details.
Last year, Swift shared with TV host Graham Norton, who also attended the wedding, her intention to have a large guest list to avoid awkward omissions.
âIâm so excited about it. I know itâs going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble,â Swift said on âThe Graham Norton Showâ in October 2025. âAnd you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. Iâm not gonna do that.â
A source confirmed to Variety that Mark Seed was the wedding planner.
Following the ceremony, images of an ivory handkerchief embroidered with lace circulated online. This keepsake, distributed to guests, featured the couple’s initials and a lyric from Swift’s 2014 hit âBlank Spaceâ: âSo itâs gonna be foreverâŠâ The handkerchief also displayed the wedding date, âJuly 3, 2026,â and location, âNew York City.â
In a since-deleted post from AMC CEO Aron, more details about the MSG transformation emerged. He described the venue as unrecognizable, draped in peach and white, with large photos of Taylor and Travis showcasing their growth from childhood to late teenage years.
Aron continued, noting that a section of MSG was transformed into a lush outdoor garden setting in green and white. Real and artificial flowers adorned the area, which accommodated around 1,000 guests in a surprisingly intimate setup.
Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, as revealed in a press release shortly after the event. TMZ reported that he performed an original song for the couple. The moment Swift and Kelce exchanged vows was broadcasted via digital billboards outside MSG with the message, âJUST&T MARRIED!â
The post-ceremony press release disclosed additional details about the wedding looks.
âThe bride and groomâs wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Womenâs, Menâs and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,â the release stated. It also mentioned, âTaylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylorâs Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travisâ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.â
âGood Morning Americaâ host Robin Roberts confirmed on Saturday morning that Stevie Nicks performed at the wedding, describing the concert as âreally intimate.â Co-host George Stephanopoulos added, âIt was as intimate as it possibly could be given it was Madison Square Garden. It was really this garden inside the Garden, which was so beautiful. Itâs hard to imagine a place that big, and a wedding with such stars, could feel so personal and so intimate.â
In the lead-up to the wedding, Swift and Kelce donated $26 million to over 20 charities. Beneficiaries included the Food Bank for NYC, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Feeding America, Grammy In The Schools, Answer The Call, Musical Mentors, After-School All-Stars, and Childrenâs Mercy Hospital.
