Altuzarra’s Valentine’s Day Celebration Above the Manhattan Skyline
Joseph Altuzarra hosted a romantic Valentine’s Day cocktail event at The Penthouse at The Standard, East Village to celebrate his Fall 2026 collection. The event, held high above Manhattan, was attended by notable guests such as Indya Moore and Sepideh Moafi, who enjoyed cocktails and late-night bites while mingling with the designer himself. Altuzarra expressed his gratitude towards his team, stating, “We really do these after-parties to celebrate and thank the team. It’s such an intense process putting together a show, so it’s nice to all be together.”
The evening was made even more special with the presence of Altuzarra’s mother, Karen, who has a unique tradition of gifting her son an owl trinket before each show. This season, she presented him with a papier-mâché owl from Japan to commemorate the collection. The designer shared, “It really does feel like a little family here tonight,” emphasizing the personal touch of the event.
Mytheresa’s Annual Temple Bar Gathering
Mytheresa continued its NYFW tradition by hosting its annual get-together at Temple Bar in NoHo. The event, now in its fourth year, was overseen by Carly Rosenberg, the luxury e-tailer’s new president of North America. The dimly-lit lounge was adorned with yellow orchids, paying homage to the brand’s signature color.
Notable designers like Prabal Gurung and Joseph Altuzarra took a break from their busy schedules to attend the event. Altuzarra, who had been working on his collection for a year and a half, shared his relaxed approach to Fashion Week, stating, “After this party, I’m going to go home, have a cup of chili, and then I’m going to the Gold House Lunar New Year party, and I’ll be in bed at 10 p.m.”
Gurung, fresh from fittings, expressed his excitement for the upcoming shows, crediting his team for their hard work and collaborative effort. The atmosphere at the party was lively, with guests enjoying grilled sandwiches, shrimp cocktail, and beef sliders while grooving to a DJ’s disco music set.
As the night progressed, attendees discussed their hectic schedules before rushing off to their next engagements, marking the end of another successful NYFW event.
