New Developments in Iran-US Conflict

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi recently made it clear that negotiations with the United States are unlikely to resume any time soon. Despite significant progress being made in three rounds of talks, Araghchi stated that the decision to attack Iran has made further discussions with the Americans unlikely.

“We are well prepared to continue attacking them with our missiles as long as needed and as long as it takes,” Araghchi asserted in a recent interview with PBS, as reported by the Daily Mail.

As tensions escalate, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has warned that the next phase of military strikes will be intensified.

“Today will be yet again our most intense day of strikes inside Iran,” Hegseth stated. “The most fighters, the most bombers, the most strikes. Intelligence more refined, and better than ever.”

Despite the ongoing military operations, President Trump remains optimistic about the outcome of the conflict.

“We’ve already won in many ways, but we haven’t won enough…we’re going to go further,” Trump declared. “We could call it a tremendous success right now… or we could go further, and we’re going to go further. We will not relent until the enemy is totally and decisively defeated.”

These recent developments indicate a continued escalation in tensions between Iran and the United States, with both sides showing a willingness to engage in further military actions. The future of diplomatic negotiations remains uncertain as the conflict shows no signs of abating.
