This Year’s Must-Have Robot Vacuums

This year has seen a surge in the popularity of robot vacuums, with innovative models from leading brands such as Dreame, Eureka, and Roborock pushing the boundaries of automated cleaning. These advanced robots can now navigate obstacles, target spills, and even pick up small items like socks, making household cleaning more efficient and convenient than ever before.

If you’re in the market for a new robot vacuum, be sure to check out our top picks in our comprehensive list of the best robot vacuums currently available.

One brand that has been noticeably quiet during this period of innovation is iRobot, the company behind the iconic Roomba vacuum. However, it seems that iRobot has been busy behind the scenes preparing for its biggest lineup of robot vacuums yet.

Starting from March 18th, iRobot will be offering four new models for pre-order in the US and select European countries through their website. The pricing for these new robots will range from €399/$469 for the Roomba 105 Combo, which includes an auto-empty dock, to €799/$999 for the Roomba Plus 505 Combo, which features an advanced AutoWash dock that not only empties the bin but also washes and heat-dries mop pads, as well as self-cleans at the end of each cycle.

Despite the impressive features and capabilities of these new models, iRobot has managed to keep the pricing competitive, making them an attractive option for consumers looking for a reliable and efficient robot vacuum.

Along with the new robots, iRobot will also be introducing a revamped Roomba Home app, designed to make controlling and monitoring the robots even easier for users.

Key features of the new models include stronger suction power, improved Lidar navigation for faster mapping, enhanced mopping capabilities, automatic carpet detection and avoidance, as well as object sensing and avoidance technology. The higher-end models will also come equipped with iRobot’s PrecisionVision AI Technology, further enhancing the robots’ ability to navigate and avoid obstacles with precision.

While the new models may not introduce groundbreaking features to the market, the real test lies in their performance and reliability. With competitive pricing and the trusted Roomba brand name, these new robots are sure to be a hit among consumers looking for a convenient and effective cleaning solution.
