Radial Entertainment, a global entertainment company, has recently announced a licensing agreement with Telus Communications to bring five popular FAST channels to the telecom giant’s streaming platforms in Canada. The channels included in this deal are “Iron Chef,” “Forensic Files,” “Hot Ones,” “Unsolved Mysteries,” and “Untold Stories of the ER,” offering over 910 hours of content to viewers. These channels are now available on Telus TV and Stream+ through the Telus TV+ app for Optik TV and Stream+ subscribers at no additional cost.
Daniel Gagliardi, the executive VP of North American digital distribution at Radial Entertainment, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We’re thrilled to make these highly popular FAST channels available to Canadian audiences at Telus and enhance their fast-growing Connected TV and streaming business. Partnering with Telus allows us to leverage our FAST expertise on a scale that will truly transform how audiences discover and enjoy premium content.”
The channels can be found in the Free Streaming Channels section and channel guide on Telus’ platforms, which currently offer a wide selection of over 70 FAST channels to subscribers. The negotiation of this deal was handled by Jenna Pascuzzo, director of North American digital distribution at Radial Entertainment, with Michael Smith from Warburn Consulting and Telus Communications playing key roles in the process.
Radial Entertainment, known for its FilmRise and Shout! Studios brands, boasts a library of over 70,000 movies and episodes spanning various genres such as true crime, reality, animation, action, westerns, medical, food, and horror. With funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, the company is set to have Jeff Shultz, a former Paramount Global executive, take on the role of CEO starting January 1, 2026.
