Colleen Hoover, the author of “It Ends With Us,” recently shared her battle with cancer on social media. In a post on her Instagram Stories, the 46-year-old author revealed that she was undergoing radiation therapy at Texas Oncology and was on her second to last day of treatment. She praised the medical staff for their support and recommended the facility to others in need.

In December 2025, Hoover first announced her cancer diagnosis on Facebook after returning from filming the movie adaptation of her novel “Reminders of Him” in Canada. She explained that she had been experiencing health issues throughout the year but had put off seeking medical attention until after the movie was completed. Upon her return, she discovered that she had cancer, which was subsequently removed through surgery. She is now undergoing radiation treatment to ensure the cancer is fully eradicated.

Despite the challenges she faced, Hoover remained optimistic and grateful for the support she received from her fans and colleagues. She expressed disappointment at missing out on the premiere of “Regretting You,” another book-to-screen adaptation, but was thankful for the understanding and well-wishes from the cast and crew.

In a recent update on Facebook, Hoover shared that genetic testing revealed that her cancer was not hereditary and likely due to environmental factors such as lack of exercise, poor diet, and stress. She humorously admitted her dislike for healthy habits like exercise and vegetables but acknowledged the importance of taking care of her health moving forward.

Despite her health struggles, Hoover remains focused on her writing career. Her upcoming book-to-screen adaptation, “Reminders of Him,” is set for release in March, and a movie adaptation of “Verity” starring Anne Hathaway is scheduled for October. Additionally, her latest novel, “Woman Down,” will be published on January 13.

Through her journey with cancer, Colleen Hoover has shown resilience and positivity, inspiring others with her strength and determination. Her openness about her diagnosis serves as a reminder of the importance of prioritizing health and well-being, even in the face of adversity. The world is constantly evolving and changing, and with it, our understanding of the environment and the impact we have on it. As we continue to push the boundaries of technology and innovation, it becomes increasingly crucial to consider the consequences of our actions on the planet.

One of the most pressing issues facing us today is climate change. The Earth’s climate is rapidly changing due to human activities such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes. These activities release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, which trap heat and cause the planet to warm up. This warming leads to a myriad of environmental problems, including rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and the loss of biodiversity.

In order to combat climate change, it is essential that we take action to reduce our carbon footprint and transition to more sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. This includes investing in renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, promoting energy efficiency, and reducing waste and pollution.

Another critical issue facing the planet is the loss of biodiversity. Human activities such as habitat destruction, pollution, and overexploitation of natural resources have led to a sharp decline in the number of plant and animal species on Earth. This loss of biodiversity not only threatens the delicate balance of ecosystems but also poses a risk to human health and well-being.

To address this issue, conservation efforts must be prioritized to protect and restore natural habitats, prevent species extinction, and promote sustainable land use practices. Education and awareness are also key in fostering a greater appreciation for the natural world and the importance of preserving it for future generations.

In addition to climate change and biodiversity loss, there are many other environmental challenges that we must address, including air and water pollution, deforestation, and plastic waste. These issues are interconnected and require a holistic approach to effectively address them.

It is clear that the health of the planet is intricately linked to our own well-being. By taking steps to protect and preserve the environment, we are not only safeguarding the future of the planet but also ensuring a sustainable future for ourselves and generations to come.

In conclusion, it is imperative that we prioritize environmental conservation and sustainability in all aspects of our lives. By making conscious choices and taking action to reduce our impact on the planet, we can help create a more sustainable and resilient world for all living beings. Let us work together to protect and preserve the Earth for future generations.
