Tori Spelling and seven children were reportedly hospitalized in California following a significant car accident this week.
Authorities responded to the scene in Temecula, California, on Thursday, April 2, after the Beverly Hills, 90210 star, 52, was involved in a collision, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement sources informed the outlet that Spelling had seven children in her vehicle â four of her own and three others â when they were hit by a vehicle that reportedly ran a red light. TMZ reported that Spelling might have averted serious injuries to herself and the children by making a last-second maneuver to get out of the way.
All individuals from both vehicles were assessed at the scene, but no arrests were made. Footage showed Spelling conversing with officers in front of her damaged SUV.
Spelling and the seven children were transported to a local hospital in three separate ambulances, where they received treatment for cuts, bruises, contusions, and concussions, according to TMZ.

It remains unclear which four of Spelling’s five children were in the car during the incident. She shares Liam Aaron, 19, Stella Doreen, 17, Hattie Margaret, 14, Finn Davey, 13, and Beau Dean, 9, with her ex-husband, Dean McDermott. (Spelling and McDermott, 59, were married for 17 years before separating in June 2023, finalizing their divorce in December 2025.)
Spelling was previously involved in a major car accident while she was pregnant in 2011.

Back then, Spelling stated that she was trying to steer clear of photographers when she accidentally crashed into her children’s elementary school with two of her kids â Liam and Stella â in the car. She seemed to be reversing away from the school when the accident occurred.
âPaparazzi chased me w/the kids 2 school. I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident. Took down whole wall of school,â she tweeted in June 2011.
The actress alleged that the photographer who was said to have caused the crash continued trying to photograph her amidst the wreckage.
â[The photographer] then STILL got out to try to get pics,â she claimed. âTen school moms chased him away. What will it take? Someone dying for paparazzi to stop?â

Spelling appeared on Good Morning America in July 2011 to address the rumors surrounding the crash.
âThe car accident was caused by me: Was it induced because of paparazzi? Yes,â she clarified at the time.
She admitted in an ABC News interview that she was âreally embarrassedâ to have unintentionally brought photographers to her children’s school. Spelling faced no charges in the incident.
