“My plan was to check him in the first round, see what he could do, and understand how he felt the distance. Then, in the second round, I would do my job and knock him out. It was our plan to finish him, and we did the job.”
Ortikov is set to face ‘The Dagestan Ninja’ Asadula Imangazaliev for the vacant ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title. This main event will take place at The Inner Circle 20 on June 26 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
The 23-year-old enters the fight with a 24-0 record, including 13 finishes, against the also undefeated Russian competitor. A decisive outcome is expected this Friday.

Aslamjon Ortikov believes this fight will not require the judges’ decision.
Both Ortikov and Asadula Imangazaliev are prepared to go all out from the start. The Uzbek fighter is confident that only one will leave with the title and their consciousness intact.
“We are both still undefeated, and neither of us has been knocked down. This fight is going to be really crazy,” Ortikov told the promotion. “One of us is going to be knocked down, and it’s not going to be me.”
