Jack Osbourne is tearfully reflecting on a poignant moment he shared with his late father, Ozzy Osbourne, a few weeks before his passing, describing it as perfectly bittersweet in hindsight.
During an appearance on ‘GMA’, Ozzy’s youngest son became emotional while discussing the heartbreak of losing a parent. He also shared how his mother, Sharon, is coping with life after Ozzy, stating she is “doing okay, but not really okay.”
Jack became emotional while recounting how Ozzy was clean, sober, and in a “wonderful mood” in his final days, contrasting it with Ozzy’s past sentiments of, “If I were clean and sober, I wouldn’t be Ozzy.”
In the aftermath of Ozzy’s farewell concert on July 5, a tribute concert, Jack revealed he took a moment to rush backstage and embrace his father, expressing his love and encouragement for him to “crush it.”
Jack concluded the interview by characterizing his father’s last show as a “living tribute,” allowing him to bid farewell to loved ones and reinforcing his wish to be remembered as someone who cherished both his vocation and family.
Following his passing on July 22, Ozzy’s family shared that he was “surrounded by love” in his final moments.
During that final performance, Jack and his brother were visibly emotional, fully aware that it was the last opportunity to witness their father’s performance live.
