Jackie Siegel, star of the documentary “Queen of Versailles,” made a stunning appearance alongside her youngest daughters, twins Jacqueline and Jordan Siegel, as they prepared for their senior prom. In a photo shared on social media, Jackie, 59, exuded elegance in a white sundress while her daughters dazzled in their prom attire – one in a white lace corset gown and the other in a yellow halter dress. The family seemed to be in good spirits despite their recent losses.
The twins’ senior prom was a bittersweet moment for the family, coming less than a month after Jackie suffered the loss of her husband, David Siegel, and her sister, Jessica Mallery, within a span of three days. Jackie and David, who tied the knot in 2000, have eight children together, including Jacqueline and Jordan. David, aged 89, passed away after battling cancer, while Jessica, aged 43, tragically died from an accidental drug overdose.
Reflecting on her recent losses, Jackie shared with Us Weekly that she now feels the presence of “extra guardian angels” watching over her. She described moments when she gets a gut feeling and feels goosebumps, believing it to be a sign of guidance from her late husband and sister. She finds comfort in knowing that David and Jessica are reunited in death.
In a heartfelt gesture, Jackie announced Jessica’s passing through her Victoria’s Voice Foundation, which was established in memory of her daughter who also died from an accidental overdose at the age of 18 in 2015. Jackie revealed that Jessica was brain dead, and her organs were kept alive for donation. Within two days, Jessica’s organs were able to save seven lives, including providing eyesight to someone in need and skin donations for burn patients and skin cancer victims. Jackie emphasized the importance of organ donation and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to continue saving lives through Jessica’s legacy.
Despite the heartache of losing her husband and sister, Jackie remains resilient and focused on honoring their memories. The bond between Jackie and her daughters, Jacqueline and Jordan, shines through as they navigate through life’s challenges and milestones, such as the twins’ upcoming graduation. The Siegel family’s strength and unity serve as a testament to the power of love and resilience in the face of adversity.
