Former cellmate of Jeffrey Epstein, Nicholas Tartaglione, has made shocking allegations that Epstein was offered his freedom in exchange for implicating former President Donald Trump in his crimes. Tartaglione claimed that Maurene Comey, daughter of former FBI Director James Comey, approached Epstein with the alleged deal while they were both incarcerated at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.
According to Tartaglione, Epstein was pressured by Maurene Comey to fabricate a story implicating Trump in his illegal activities. He stated that prosecutors promised Epstein his freedom if he cooperated and accused Trump of being involved in his crimes. Tartaglione also claimed that Maurene Comey assured Epstein that he did not need to provide any evidence, as long as Trump’s team could not disprove the allegations.
Furthermore, Tartaglione disclosed that he had conversations with Epstein regarding Trump, and Epstein explicitly denied any involvement of the former President in his crimes. Despite these claims, Epstein died by suicide on August 10, 2019, sparking conspiracy theories that he was murdered to prevent him from exposing powerful individuals.
The allegations made by Tartaglione have reignited calls for the release of the unredacted Epstein files, which reportedly contain a list of influential people involved in Epstein’s criminal activities. Both Democrats and Trump have advocated for the disclosure of these files, with Trump expressing his desire for all Grand Jury testimonies related to Epstein to be made public.
David Schoen, Epstein’s former lawyer, has also weighed in on the situation, stating his belief that Epstein did not possess any incriminating information on Trump. Schoen dismissed the existence of a client list used for blackmail purposes, contradicting previous claims made by officials. He emphasized that Epstein had no damaging information on Trump and had no motive to implicate him in his crimes.
The controversy surrounding Epstein and his alleged connections to prominent figures continues to fuel speculation and demands for transparency. As the debate over the release of the Epstein files persists, the truth behind Epstein’s criminal network and potential involvement of high-profile individuals remains a contentious issue.
